First Israeli- Palestinian International Economic Forum, held in Jerusalem and attended by Israeli, Palestinian, and global business leaders, as well as Israeli Ministers, U.S. Senator James Lankford and U.S. Ambassador David Friedman.

Appropriations report language is modified to include funding to support joint Israeli and Palestinian businesses and encourage joint commerce and a joint workforce in the West Bank.

Ambassador Friedman makes first official visit to the West Bank in over 40 years, meeting with members of the Judea Samaria Chamber, local officials and visiting international business leaders.

Congressman John Ratcliffe (R) directs the Department of Homeland Security (DHS) to investigate the potential of using the Israeli border security. DHS contacts the Israeli technology source within one week.

The House Foreign Affairs Committee unanimously approves the Israel Anti-Boycott Act, which shields Israel and Israeli businesses by criminally penalizing U.S. citizens seeking to participate in international boycotts against them, clearing the legislation for a full vote on the House floor

USIEA hosts a private luncheon with U.S. Ambassador David Friedman where he hears Jewish and Palestinian business leaders share about their successful joint business ventures and the impact of their success on the economic prosperity of the West Bank (Judea and Samaria). These leaders request U.S. assistance to accelerate these efforts as a way to bring normalization of Israeli and Palestinian relations and economic prosperity to both groups in this region.

USIEA begins briefing Congress on Israeli technology that can provide unprecedented border crossing security.

USIEA introduces the Administration to successful Palestinian and Israeli business partners who have normalized their relationships in effort to strengthen economic growth in Judea and Samaria.

House of Representatives passes the Taylor Force Act, preventing the Palestinian Authority from using US funding to pay salaries to terrorists serving in Israeli prisons.

RESULT: State Foreign Ops Bill 2014 passes US House and Senate, directing Secretary of State to prohibit assistance to any individual or entity that advocates or engages in terrorist activity including PLO, Hamas, PA personnel in Gaza or use of funds to honor individuals who commit acts of terror.

RESULT: Congressional Tour member, Ted Poe, chairs hearing in US House Foreign Affairs Subcommittee on Terrorism, Nonproliferation and Trade. The hearings are indispensable for any future anti-boycott legislation concerning Israel.

USIEA coordinates meeting between Rep. Steve Scalise and Economic and Trade Minister Naftali Bennett who draft legislation regarding EU trade boycott against Israel.

Rep. Doug Lamborn (R-CO), Rep. Shelley Berkley (D-NV) facilitate briefing with 54 members of Congress on aid required for Iron Dome. USIEA coordinates experts and speakers.
